Our Purpose and Vision
Our aim is to work together with school governing bodies to promote the well-being and effectiveness of the school community and thereby enhance learning and teaching.

We feel it is important that communication and strong trusting relationships are built between us as a business and each individual member of each governing body and we pride ourselves on being approachable and effective in our operation to assist.
Our experience has taught us that governors need efficient support at varied degrees throughout the year. We understand that governors, including headteachers, need access to high quality, accurate information when it’s convenient to them, and support to enable them to harness modern technology to improve communication and use their time to best effect.
Who we are
We are a professional and knowledgeable clerking and governor advisory service who assist governing bodies in meeting their statutory responsibilities. The service provides effective and efficient administrative support and advice and guidance on governance.

Director of School Governance Solutions - Simone Delaney

School Governance Solutions was founded by Company Director, Simone Delaney, in 2015. Simone has 26 years of experience working in the Local Authority ranging from Student Finance to Pupil Services. Having worked with many schools within the Local Authority she identified the need for a supportive and consistent clerking service throughout the borough and made the decision the create School Governance Solutions Ltd.
Over the past 6 years, Simone has built excellent relationships with her schools and governing bodies and has expanded her workforce to include six experienced governance Clerks. Simone understands the importance of successful governance and its impact on the whole school community and will always ensure governing bodies are well equipped with all they need to thrive within their role.
